Mikaela provides front office services, facility and administrative support to BWRC faculty, students and staff. She administers the faculty calendars and is responsible for scheduling meetings, seminars and helping coordinate the bi-annual retreats. She also serves as alternate building coordinator.
Manage, plan, and administer administrative operations for the Berkeley Wireless Research Center. Providing membership review and invoicing to BWRC members annually. Establish policies to ensure the overall financial security of the BWRC while maintaining services to 10 faculty and 100+ students. Provide additional support for faculty with sponsor financial reporting requirements. Help facilitate grant awards and gift letters/funding and support Faculty Co-Directors in writing successful proposals.
Research staff engineer developing design flows including Simulink to Silicon (INSECTA), and supporting the new Infrastructure for Synthesis with Integrated Simulation project (ISIS), developing advanced computing systems. These efforts investigate new approaches to using a common hardware description to represent a design for both FPGA and ASIC implementations.
