Membership Policy
BWRC Open-Source Policy:
The policy of BWRC is to use and develop open-source software and hardware, and it is the intention of all BWRC researchers that any software and hardware developed by BWRC will be released under an open-source license, and to place all BWRC research results in the public domain making them openly accessible.
Center membership provides access to faculty and graduate students involved in a large interdisciplinary research effort which seeks to build circuits and systems for ubiquitous connectivity enabling the platforms of the future. Members support the BWRC by making available an annual unrestricted fund of $180K for the use of the directors in support of the research. These funds support academic and educational research work and associated costs of the Directors. Unrestricted funding eliminates contracts and maximizes member research investment.
For more information on our research directions, see the BWRC Annual Report.
